Vincent Kuagbenu exits post; NSS Board appoints acting Executive Director

The Governing Board of the Ghana National Service Scheme has appointed Alhaji Alhassan Imoro as Acting Executive Secretary.
This comes after a Presidential directive asking the immediate past head of the Service, Vincent Kuabgenu, to proceed on leave. The board is hopeful the new boss would perform.
The Acting Executive Director, Alhaji Alhassan Imoro who has been with the NSS for the past 23 years, told Joy News he has what it takes to further project the goals of the Scheme.
Some workers at the National Service secretariat expressed excitement at the new appointment.
Anim Dankwah, Director of Voluntary Service, said he is very happy Mr. Vincent Kuagbenu is gone. He cited Mr. Kuagbenu's 'autocratic management style' for his excitement.
