Indecent dressing only shows disrespect for our ancestors and our traditions. If you wnat to look like a whore, then go elswhere and do your whore-hoochie mama thing! As a man, I could never take a whore-hoochie mama to meet my family; her public display would not allow me to do so. If she is an Akan woman, I do not care what her mama or grandmother posses. I could never marry such a woman. I would even be leary of having sex with such a woman; she might be too common.
Respect is as respect does!

I agree wholeheartedly. Stop the indcent "hoochie-mama" dressing. This is not sexy, but makes women look "whorish" and "cheap". If you want people to see your breasts, then attend the Depo Rites or go to Nkrumah Circle in Accra after dark. I would imagine the Kwahu Festival is about something other than cheaply dressed women exhibiting their breasts. The women depicted in the article must be size 12 or better, but have squeezed into a size 8. That is funny. Their propensity to wear western clothing in the manner in which they do, makes them look garrishly comedic. All you see is titty and mo' titty! You cannot miss the titty! The next question is "how much for the twe?" Though this might be insulting, it will surface in such a public place as the festival. My point is if you want to be treated with respect, then dress and carry yourself as such.

I wonder what they mean by decent. It is really subjective. Also, I wonder what they will do to someone considered to be "indecently" dressed.

Thank you KDA for such a notice.i would have appriciated it more if the alcoholic beverage sellers who trops there annually for their profit and leaves gabage benind are asked to pay some amount of goodwill to the KDA before their operate and sell there. the purpose of these payments can be used for other development projects lacking in our kwahu communities.
if they cant pay then, they should stay in the various regions and sell there.
