Systematic rot, corruption threatening survival of NYEP - Part 1
Weeks of investigations by Joy News have confirmed what was feared to be systematic fraud perpetuated by a well-coordinated network of corrupt National Youth Employment Program officials.

Documents available to Joy News suggest the corrupt managers have banks and top government officials as collaborators who are bent on shielding them from prosecution even after they are indicted through official investigations.

The National Youth Employment Programme was initiated to help deal with the overwhelming unemployment situation in the country.

But is this goal being achieved? Joy News’ Manasseh Azure Awuni has been on the beat and has filed the following report, the first in a series titled Youth Employment Mafia.

Play the attached audio to listen to the report on Youth Employment Mafia.
