Koforidua based lady wins Asempa FM’s Valentine promotion

A four day valentine promotion held on Asempa FM’s midmorning show Abrabo ended on 14th February 2013 with four people emerging as winners.

The exciting competition, which featured 15 participants, saw the 4 winners going home with many gifts for their partners and themselves.

The 15 contestants were asked to write and read love letters completely in Akan, mentioning all the punctuation.

Seven out of the 15 qualified to the next stage of the competition based on their performance and votes cast by callers.

Subsequently, 4 out of the 7 contestants were shortlisted for the final competition on Valentine’s Day at the Asempa FM studio.

The finalists were made to prepare their partners favorite meal verbally, explaining and mentioning all the ingredients in Akan.

This stage of the competition was so enthralling that some of the participants forgot to even mention salt, oil and the types of fish they were preparing their meals.

The only lady among 4 contestants in the final stage of the competition, Mercy Odura Twumasi from Koforidua, emerged the overall winner.

She took home a hamper, products from Dark and Lovely and a voucher for products from Black Secret as well as some toiletries.

First runner up Vasco Aidoo and third runner up Kwabena also went home with hampers, products from Dark and Lovely and a voucher for products from Black Secret, while the 4th place winner took home a consolation price of some toiletries.

The 4 contestants expressed joy and gratitude to the management of Asempa FM for making their valentine memorable.
