An 18-year-old first year student of the Odumaseman Senior High School (SHS) at Berekum in the Brong Ahafo region has been shot dead by a hunter.
The hunter mistook Justice Amuakoh for an antelope.
The SHS student was reported to have gone to the forest with a friend when the incident happened.
Afia Naomi, an aunt of the deceased, said she was informed that Justice was spotted lying in the forest.
She rushed there with neighbors only to find him lying on his back in a pool of his own blood.
Oh my God, Afia exclaimed and called Justice’s elder brother to inform him about his untimely death.
It is not clear where the hunter is or the friend who accompanied Justice to the forest.
