What about the insults Rawlings poured on Atta Mills from 2009 till he died?.And the fromation of the NDP,plus Rawlings's support for Akuffo Addo's NPP?.Then Konadu's assurance that Mills would be reduced to a "One Term" President?. These points were missing in Rawlings's "tribute" if not "TRIBURTARY"? Yet Rawlings has the guts to try and say something nice about Atta Mills.Konadu must be a very happy person and we are looking forward to her running for Presidency in December,2012?. AH sO?
Papa J's tribute has no basis. Remember he and his cohorts vowed to make the late Prez a one-time president. And it has come to pass. Since he has suddenly become the lover boy of the NPP, he should be the first reference point of investigating into the prez's demise. OR is the NPP afraid to confront Papa J directly? Growing up as a child I detested J.J so much, may be it was because in 1979 most of my friends in Achimota school had their fathers or parents killed during J.J's PNDC regime. It was very wrong which I still condemn. But now Rawlings is a man I highly respect after my deceased father. He is indeed a great man of his words and also stands by his words.NDC gurus are so much afraid for what he stands for. We support you papa J. Tell it all to Ghanaians.
If u observed events carefully, u would realize that Rawlings made valid points that could be seen by many people afar. My only problem was the manner in which those criticisms were made.
Crticise but the mode is important. Is Rawlings saying that he never had it wrong? I believe he had admiration for those who could approach him with constructive criticism or suggestions. Was it all those that he took and worked with? With Mills as the prez he could use better approaches to get his message to him than he did. Has Rawlings been satisfied with the way the wife is going? What about Adams or MTN? They have always had it right to him and Mills the other way. Approches in advising is always important.

JJ was disturbed with the set up in prof 's administration and governance that may lead the country astry. Just b'cos he knew prof, belierve in his intergrity and maturity, spear-headed prof's campaign several times and won in 2008.JJ saw and felt clearly the prof is being used for personal gains in which he stressed prof had been enclaved by greedy bastard and urged him to do-away with them.JJ was preaching a good sermon and people should not twist his pronouncements and advices for a good cause.JJ had nothing against prof but rather his greedy wing commanders and surface gold miners.
I never saw our 1st President Nkrumah but saw the others and vividly remember papa J all through. As some may not like him because of a few atrocities during the early days of the revolution, which virtually affected everyone in Ghana, I have personally come to like this man because of his integrity. He is one who says it as it is. Ghanaians like people who say one thing and do the other. Papa J you are the prophet of our time and wish that you will live long so no politician will take Ghana for a ride. With you around they lie bad. Your tribute indeed say it all that you indeed wanted the Prof to succeed but people mistook you for hating him. Those who served under Papa J and are now criticizing him and dragging his name in the mad-do they want to tell me that Rawlings of yesteryear; young with his youthful exuberance was better than the matured Mr. Rawlings of today? Ghanaian politicians are hypocrites, they were singing hallelujah to Mr. Rawlings' name because he was giving them jobs. Let the political tide change today for Rawlings to get power to appoint and fire, they will hail not only Mr. Rawlings but Nana as well. Why wouldn't Rawlings call them greedy bastards. Mr. Rawlings criticized the Good old Prof. because knowing the prof. he couldn't phantom the Prof. to be looking on while people chop wawaa like that. To Mr. Rawlings, never mind, sickness took the better part you knew from Prof. Mills.
