Members of Parliament have been called to House as the Chief Justice prepares to swear-in Vice president John Mahama as the president.
This follows the death of President John Mills at the 37 Military Hospital, Tuesday.
The swearing in is in line with Article 62 of the 1992 Constitution.
The clerks of Parliament are making frantic efforts to get Members of Parliament to sit for the swearing-in to take place.
